Crossing the borders between sound design and site specific tempo based visual composition with a practice rooted in pirate radio and graffiti culture, Benjamins practice stretches back over the last 20 years and continues to evolve.
Currently represented by Kin arts in Manchester for combined practice work and also a weekly resident on Bristols Ujima Radio presenting left field sonic work as part of the universal magnetic collective. Bens work ranges from long form sound installation to rhythm heavy dub plate music designed for dancers, to public murals that transcend traditional graffiti / street art aesthetics and present a new visual language.
