Currently I work as freelance Global Photography manager for CARE International, a global humanitarian charity.

Based in Bristol, UK, I am a professional photographer/Picture editor and frequently travel in the UK and India on assignment for editorial, corporate and environmental projects. With 30 years of industry experience, I am still keen to produce high quality images now, as I was when I started out. I cherish diversity and challenge and working to tight deadlines.

Coming from press background, I specialise in editorial, environmental, corporate and commercial work including portraiture, PR and events. I also photograph performance, music and travel images. I am open to discuss all type of commissions.

My work is varied, with each assignment bringing different challenges and utilising different skills and experience. I also work as a freelance consultant and picture editor for clients providing solutions in digital asset management (DAM).
I also teach photography and facilitate photography workshops.

My images have been published in some of the worlds leading publications such as Financial Times, The Guardian, BBC Country file magazine, Harper & Collins,
Sustrans, Environment Agency, The Times as well as in a variety of online publications, corporate reports and Policy documents.

I speak fluent English, Hindi, Oriya, Bengali and three regional dialects from India.

I am reliable, flexible and in addition to the brief, I endeavour to visualise what else you might need- and deliver much more than you hoped for.

I have had my work exhibited and have been nominated for photographic awards.
