Interview with Island Studio Holder Rachelle Aaronson
We caught up with resident Island artist Rachelle Aaronson who recently held her exhibition ‘Looking Up, Looking Down’ at The Vestibules. The exhibition followed Rachelle’s photographic journey. Starting with `looking up’ to manmade structures that dominate our skylines then ‘looking down’ to the more ephemeral objects, the perspective eventually developing into `involuntary` sculptures.
How lucky to have stumbled upon this! Love the concept of involuntary sculpture – anything can be art, looking up or down. The responses are fantastic too. Thank you for guided tour!

Included in the exhibition was a creative response to the photographs from founder of Floriography, Vera Fallacy.
The Exhibition took place at The Vestibules, Bristol between Friday 21st October between 11.30 am – 6.30 pm
